Ok, so here is my story. Right after Bronycon, when I got home, I notice that my toes on my left leg were going numb. It did this several times a week until Oct. The numbness started occurring several times a day. My calf started having recurring pain and stiffness and I was starting to have pain in my foot when I walked. Within two days, I couldn't walk at all.
I went to see my doctor who ordered an ultrasound on my leg. The report came back the the main artery in my leg was clear. So my doctor send me to a vascular surgeon in Omaha the next day.
When I got there he took one look at my leg and said he couldn't help me. He had the report from my hospital saying my leg was fine. He said I had nerve damage and was going to send me to a pain specialist.
At the last minute he decided to do an ultrasound there in his office. They found a blood clot from my knee to my ankle. He was shocked. He admitted me to the hospital at 5pm that same day and did surgery at 6pm. He said I was very close to losing my leg if not my life.
I am recovering now and doing well. It has been two weeks out of the hospital. I do know without a doubt that God had a hand in all this, because at the last minute the doctor changed his mind.
I am starting to work on commission again. thank you for patiences.
